Position: Ethnic Minority District Ambassador

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and conducting group activities for SEN children and families including but not limited to ethnic minorities.
  • Assist in performing networking duties and building up self-support network.
  • Assist in the production of publicity/ promotion materials in EM languages.
  • Assist in administrative work for centre.

 

Requirements
  • Form 5 or above.
  • Applicants with the qualification of HKCEE/HKDSE 5 passes will be given preference (including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics at grade E/Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Having experience in conducting programs and activities, launching publicity and networking activities.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in working with SEN children and EM service users.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Outgoing, good team player, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, responsible.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English, both in written and spoken, and be proficient in Bahasa, Indonesia, Nepali, Urdu, Punjabi, Tagalog, Thai, Hindi, or Vietnamese, in written and spoken forms.
  • Willing to work in the evening or weekends.
